Mini Series | Episode 2: Mail for the tiger / Dream lesson for dormouse

Janoschs Traumstunde

Family/Book adaptation, Germany 1986

Mail for the tiger The little tiger is always so lonely when his friend, the bear, goes fishing. "Please write me a letter," he asks the bear. He does the same, and because there is no mail yet, he invents it without further ado. But it's not as easy as it sounds. Because a letter carrier is not found so quickly. Finally, the rabbit takes over the role of the postillion. In the end, all the animals have their own mailboxes and write to each other; even by airmail. Then they also invent the telephone. Dream hour for dormouse Pietzke, the dormouse, always wants to sleep. When Popov wants to take him to the forest school, Pietzke is kidnapped by a big bird. In the process, he doesn't even wake up; in fact, he continues to sleep underwater. Until finally - friendship is friendship - Popov rescues Pietzke. Pietzke is completely unaware of all the dangers that threatened him.
