The bizarre verbal duel of the two elevator victims, which makes "Waiting for Godot" look like a star hour of realism, is only the frame story of this film. Because outside the lift, in the real world of the Badesalz universe, a whole lot more happens: there are shop detectives, for example, who loudly suspect unsuspecting women of having stolen their unborn children from the shelves, or mercilessly stupid, yet excessively self-absorbed bodybuilders and heavyweight submarine captains with a solid, but still extensive knowledge of Hessian. And there are also Margot and Elsbeth, the diabolical coffee aunts. Not to forget the great Fred Labosch - the only true titan of action cinema!
