The documentary not only shows the history of the story and with photo retrospectives the history of the two predecessors, but also gives insights behind the scenes of the house. Through the color shots, the ceiling painting "Gesang vom Leben" by the Leipzig artist Sighard Gille comes into its own. It extends into the foyers over 714m² and is the largest contemporary ceiling painting in Europe.
